TerraBlu were finalists for 2 awards at the West Kent Business Excellence Awards 2009, one was for ‘Innovation’ and the other for ‘Outstanding Business Person’.

‘Innovation’ was for TerraBlu’s unique Care Academy training programme. Care Academy sees employees attend a 5 day training programme that is held in Albir – Spain. The programme is part reward and part relaxation. Every employee that has been with TerraBlu for more than a year is invited to attend. Customer Service workshops are held in the hotel during the day, the afternoons and evenings are full of relaxation, swimming and spa treatments along side the hotel pool!

‘Outstanding Business Person’ saw Richard Gould – Managing Director become a finalist.

At the end of the evening TerraBlu along with 3 other companies were nominated as a finalist for the West Kent Business Of The Year.

The awards evening on the 22nd October 2009 at the Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells saw TerraBlu win the ‘Innovation’ award for large companies.
